Go where the good vibrations are pick them up, take them home with you, let them change you and your home.

I have visited Suntory Hall many times for piano concerts. The other day was a piano concert by Nobuyuki Tsujii. I was seated on the second-floor balcony where I could see the orchestra. As I was seated at the very back, I thought I wouldn’t bother anyone and was hanging my coat on the backrest and then I was warned by a staff member, “madam…”

Then I remembered 12 years ago when I was visiting shrines in Nara on what I called a journey of self-discovery. There was a shrine that closed at 3 pm and I was able to enter just in time. At that moment, a voice came out of nowhere, “Turn your shoes around.”

I blamed myself for my bad behavior while no one was watching. When I was working part-time, I took the initiative to clean the toilets, which no one else did, but in the end, someone noticed. In truth, I felt that it was in the places where only I was looking that I should pay respect to myself.

And this is how the high vibrations are maintained. I thought Suntory hall is a place like a shrine or a temple. Nobuyuki Tsujii is, needless to say, in the realm of the divine. Tears flowed as if cleansing my immature heart during the encore “Raindrop Prelude.”

Then the next morning, just as I had a nightmare the morning after Fujiko Hemming’s Suntory Hall concert a year ago, I woke up in a somewhat heavy mood this time as well.

Suddenly, I wanted to change the energy flow in my house. Even though the newcomer, the serious black keyboard, had arrived, I hadn’t rearranged the room. The tables and desks look somewhat awkward In addition, I threw away a TV stand with a broken hinge, which I was not sure whether to throw away or not and I decided to buy a new air purifier. Last week, I just threw away 100 L of clothes and shoes. I feel more and more of my obsessions being shed.

My room should be my sanctuary. To clean your house is to pay respect to yourself.
