How to get along with Time

A great man once said, “Who controls time controls life.”

We discussed how to get along with Time at 1D1U Camp.

Me: I’d say it’s the opposite of being rushed by time. It’s about walking with time and living in the present. It’s also about leading a little bit ahead of time, getting things done ahead of time, I say “Beyond Time”. Anyway, it’s not about being chased, it’s about being close to it. Does anyone else have an opinion?

Client Y: As I get to know time better, I find that I can do the things I used to postpone in less time because I thought they were too much work. I don’t hold on to unfinished tasks anymore. In other words, I understand and have a better sense of time.

Me: I see. So you have a better understanding of time, and you can say the time it will take, for example, that you can do this in an hour.

Client Y: I’m still at the level of committing for 10 minutes max. I’d like to improve my sense of time though.

Client N: It’s great that you know what you can do for 10 minutes or an hour. I can’t do it yet, but I like the way of thinking.

Client C: Since I started doing 1D1U, I have been able to visualize the flow of the day, so I think I am getting along with time. I used to have to cut down on my sleeping hours, time was pushing and pushing me. That’s gone now.

Me: I see. When you are pushing or cutting time, you are not getting along with time. It’s like you’re fighting against time. In other words, to get along with Mr. Time is to be able to say that you can do this in 10 minutes. And you can make good use of your spare time, it means you are in control of your time and life! We did it!

Understanding time is the same as understanding relationships. I think there are many faces of time. It may have a different nature in the morning and the evening, or in different places. The best way to deal with time can be created based upon your instruction manual.

Don’t fight time, make time “fight for you.”
