Noticism.| How to turn a simple walk into a work of art or “Noticism.”

“Nothing happened” never happens, if you start to notice things. NOTICISM is a new appreciation of your life. Carpe diem-ister!

”Something magical always happens when I’m with Hitomi, right?”, said my niece while eating her alternative ice cream.

I didn’t have the cash or a payment app to pay at the shop, so I had to go to the ATM to withdraw the money to buy the ice cream, but my niece dropped the whole thing on the floor. And she said the opening line.

In Hitomi’s room at 1D1U Camp “Sustainable”, the theme was “I want to increase the opportunities for output”. For example, keeping a diary is also an output process. However, the client felt that there was nothing of note happening every day and that she was getting lost in the daily tasks.

I don’t have an event every day either. Recently, I posted about a simple walk. It was just a walk, but there was so much to write about. There were even a few stories that I rejected.

When the client heard my story, she was struck by the phrase” just a walk”. Then she said, “I had been thinking because you are a captain, such interesting things land around you. But I thought that if the captain replaced me, I would see things differently. Maybe what I see will be seen different if I see it through the eyes of the captain. I think that today’s work will change depending on how I perceive the material of the present situation and how I make it creative. It’s going to turn reality “reverse focus!” I think I’m going to see the world differently.”

And what I think is that when I write, I describe what I see rather than how I feel, so that the reader can experience it with me. I think the best part of an essay is that a reader get to see how the author sees the world. By the way, I have very good eyesight, so I’m probably good at capturing a wide range of eye-catching things.

In other words, if you don’t live in the present, the image in front of you is just a background. But when you live in the moment, it becomes a landscape, not a background. Being actively involved in the present is the key to making even a simple walk into a work of art.
