Now, 1D1U Camp is themed on “Having.” One of the Camp’s events is the Uniters Project, where participants host a zoom meeting for 30 minutes. Before starting the Camp, one Uniter had a 20-minute session with me to think about what she could do with the Uniters Project.

The Uniter said, “I can’t think of anything I can do”. However, within five minutes of the session start, the captain had an idea. “Why don’t you read out the 1D1U “Sustainable” report?’” This was because she had once read “The Art of Loving” for 10 minutes every day for 30 days, and it was a great success. However, the 1D1U Sustainable Report is about two hours long to read in full, so it was decided to upload the audio every day for 16 days with one story read each day. Besides, the people who wrote the report are attending the camp, so they’ll be happy!

On the third day of camp, the readings began. she started reading with my ‘Introduction’. Before that, she read the title and index without skipping anything, which made me giggle.
Because she pronounced the word “sustainable” in English in the Japanese story. And there are a lot of titles with “Sustainable” in them, so the Sustainable of Sustainable made me laugh even more.

Then my “introduction” began. Her reading voice was very soft, airy, and soothing. And I felt the report sounded like a fairy tale.

She signed up for 90-day coaching in 2015 and at first, I had the impression that she had a good voice. So it seemed a necessity that she arrived at the readings in this way.

For me, it was an experience I’d never had when I was replaying my writing in my brain. It was also a moment of realization of my “having” through the reading. “Oh, I’m a better writer than I thought!”
（“Having” is the idea that one has the talent needed rather than to gain it.）

And Uniters’s work also felt even more realistic and wonderful. Like a pianist who attaches sounds to a score, it depends on the reader to change the way it is delivered. And then it becomes a script, a drama, a film… it goes on sustainably.
